Our 3rd Annual Kids Dance Party was held on May 7, 2017 and the event was a big success! We had about 600 people in attendance and we hope everyone had a great time and will return next year.
The event had a DJ with a huge dance floor, Silent auction, Raffle draw, Princesses, Superheroes, Photo booth, Face painting and a Candy table.
This year we surpassed all expectations by raising an amazing $18,000! We could never have done it without the help of our committee members, all our amazing event volunteers and supporters like you. THANK YOU!!!
There are hundreds of pictures from the Party and the Photo Booth available on our Facebook page. There are just too many to post here. Follow these links to them:
(L toR) Taylor, Morgan and Sydney had a fundraiser for us on Sep 25.
Cookies, muffins, cupcakes, pumpkin scones, coffee and hot chocolate all to support Madox’s Warriors and our fight against DIPG and childhood brain cancers. Thank you girls! You are amazing to be doing this in the rain.
Held on September 17, our 2016 run was a great success! We had over 370 participants join us and the support we receive keeps growing. Seeing so many event participants come dressed as heroes is fantastic!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the Volunteers, Participants and supporters that came out on Saturday for the event and helped make the event a great day! It is great to see this event continue as an all ages event and we love to see kids come out and participate or volunteer with their parents! Love it!
We also want thank all the individual and teams who pledged for funds and helped us achieve our goal!

Meet our neighbour Amélie. She hounded her parents for days about putting on a lemonade stand for Madox’s Warriors. She probably doesn’t remember Madox as she was only 3 years old when he passed away, yet she still wants to fight for a cure.
Thank you Amélie for raising so much money and awareness to childhood brain cancer. You are a pretty amazing young lady. Love the diaper box as your table
Thank you so much to Lexie and Jennifer Dubois for organizing and working the bake sale at Ecole St. Germain on March 23, 2016!
As written by Jennifer for the school website:
“Thank you to all the families of ESG for your donations of time, baked goods and money yesterday raising funds for Madox’s Warriors! With your generosity, we were able to raise $1,150.45! Thank you to everyone for all your hard work!”
AMAZING!! They raised THAT much for Madox’s Warriors while every item on sale was just $1! ONE DOLLAR! That truly blows us away.
We want to send a special thank you to Lexie. When your mom contacted us back in December about your idea, we were touched. We love that it was planned for Madox’s birthday week. You remembered his birthday and that meant the world to us because it tells us he is not forgotten. Now we know why Madox called you friend. You have a heart of gold!!
