The German Society of Winnipeg hosted a super hero themed double feature movie night showing Disney’s the Incredibles and the Guardians of the Galaxy! Between movies there were games and prizes for the kids!
We want to thank Alycia and Erik Magnusson for hosting this event and donating the proceeds to Madox’s Warriors!
THANK YOU to:
Kimi Guilbert from Shoppers Drug Mart (St. Anne’s, St. Vital)
Mike and Shannon Pfaff from Inland Pipe

For donating items for our raffle at our Movie Night fundraiser. Each fundraiser wouldn’t be possible without donations and support like yourselves. Thank you.
Well our first 5K Superhero Run To Fight Childhood Brain cancer has come and gone and it was a huge success!
Held on September 26, 2015 we could not be happier with how the day turned out.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the Volunteers that came out on Saturday for the run and helped make the event a great day! It was awesome to see kids come out and participate or volunteer with their parents! Love it!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all who participated in the 5K, pledged for funds and helped us achieve our goal! There are almost 200 pictures on our Facebook page, but here are a few of our favourites.
A HUGE THANK YOU to our Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors!!
Sydnee and Taylor Grabeldinger, and Morgan and Taylor Keeler had a beautiful day to sell treats and lemonade to passerby’s a few weeks ago. Their efforts raised $24o for Madox’s Warriors. Thank you girls! Your parents must be so proud.
Madox had many friends; boys and girls. Always going out of his way for other children who are alone or shy or new.
I still remember Madox coming home from school one day telling us about a boy named Kallan who just arrived new to his school and class. They seemed to bond pretty quickly in class and Madox told me “He’s new mom. So I told him I’ll be his friend so he doesn’t have to be bored”. Well, it didn’t take too long before Kallan made many friends in that school.
A few weeks ago, Kallan celebrated his 10th birthday. Instead of presents, he asked for a monetary donation to support Madox’s Warriors. Our hearts are warmed when children are empathetic and want to make a change in this world.
Kallan Kujanpaa, thank you. Thank you for being Madox’s buddy and thank you for your amazing donation and support.
JAI CLARK’S FIRST BIRTHDAY!
Madox has some pretty amazing warriors fighting along side us to cure Childhood Brain Cancer.
I was contacted by a mom named Mandip Kharod-Clark. Her adorable son Jai was turning 1 year old and she asked if they can collect donations for Madox’s Warriors in lieu of gifts. They would be splitting the donations between us and BC Children’s Hospital. Yes, they live in British Columbia!
We are honoured that they not only thought of Madox during such a happy time for their first child, but also that they want to help us fight childhood cancer. Even though Jai doesn’t know it yet, he’s already made a big impact on the fight against cancer.
Thank you Mandip, Jeremy and Jai for the amazing donation of $500.
We truly appreciate your love and support to us, and to all children fighting this fight. And thank you to all the guests at Jai’s birthday party. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
