DFAn exciting day for us! Madox’s Warriors first donation!!

After several months of fundraising we were so happy to present The Dream Factory with a cheque. This is our first donation since beginning this journey. Thank you to all of our warriors who supported us with our events and in turn supported our first donation to the charity of our choice The Dream Factory!

This will help a local child fulfill a Dream Wish!

Thank you!!

First donation done, 2nd one to be announced in the next few days!

Below is the post from The Dream Factory’s Facebook page.

One of the most truly amazing parts of doing what we do at The Dream Factory is the amazing relationships we build with our Dream Kids and their families, and how many families keep in touch with us even after we have granted their child’s dream.
It is even more remarkable when a family keeps in touch and does fundraising on our behalf after their child has passed away. There are almost no words to describe this feeling.
Madox’s Warriors are a perfect example of this. They lost Madox, their beloved son and brother, in August 2014 at only 9 years old, to a rare form of brain tumour called DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma). They do so much work raising funds and we feel so fortunate enough to be one of the organizations they support with their fundraising efforts.
They recently held a dance party social, a bake sale, and a Superhero Run and came by today with a donation of an astounding $10,000.00!!! Thank you so much to Madox’s Warriors for this amazing donation. We are so grateful. heart emoticon
